Who we are

This site is operated by Ashley Henson Design, LLC in Frederick, Maryland. This page explains what the site collects and what happens to it.

What you send

When you use the inquiry form, the site collects what you type: your name, email, phone number if you add one, event date, the service and budget you pick, and your message. It is used only to reply to your inquiry and, if you book, to plan and carry out your project.

How it travels and where it is kept

The form sends your inquiry over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) to the site, which passes it to Resend, an email delivery service. Resend delivers it to Ashley's email inbox at Google (Gmail). The site does not keep its own database of inquiries and does not write them to its server logs.

Resend keeps a copy of delivered messages for a limited time under its own retention settings. Ashley keeps inquiry emails for as long as needed to reply and, if you book, for her business records.

The website and its email delivery account are managed by Garita Cyber Defense Consulting, the company that builds and secures this site. It can access inquiry messages only to keep the form working.

How it is protected

Connections to the site are encrypted, the form is protected against automated abuse, and access to the inbox and the delivery account is limited to Ashley and the site's administrator. No method of sending or storing information is completely secure. If a security incident ever affects your information, we will notify you as Maryland law requires.

Spam protection and hosting

The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver pages and block abuse.

Cookies and analytics

The site itself sets no cookies. It remembers your analytics choice in your browser's local storage, which stays on your device.

With your permission, the site uses Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the pages, for example clicks and scrolling. Clarity sets cookies and sends that activity to Microsoft, which handles it under its own privacy statement. It loads only after you choose "Allow analytics". What you type into the inquiry form is masked and is not recorded.

You can change your choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" link in the page footer. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, the site treats it as a decline unless you choose otherwise.

The site also uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and measure how fast pages load. It uses no cookies and does not identify individual visitors, so it runs without asking.

Cloudflare, which hosts the site and runs the spam check on the form, may set cookies that are strictly necessary for security.

What the site does not do

The information you send through the inquiry form is never sold, shared for advertising, or added to a marketing list.

Your choices

You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. To do that, email ashleyhensondesign@gmail.com or call (240) 793-3398. We will confirm the request by replying to the address your inquiry came from, and we will act on it within 45 days. We offer this to everyone, whether or not a privacy law requires it.

Children

The site is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.
